We all know and love Emilia Clarke for her incredible portrayal of Daenerys Targaryen in the hit HBO series Game of Thrones, but unlike her domineering character, the actress is quite soft-hearted in real life. In fact, she’s not at all like the stern, intimidating Khaleesi we fell in love with. In real life, Clarke is a real bundle of energy and it shows in all her public appearances.

The actress is always seen smiling and joking, and even her co-stars are addicted to her energy. But her history of illnesses and health complications has made her more nervous about being recognized in public.

Last year, Clarke revealed that she suffered from two brain aneurysms while filming Game Of Thrones. The confession came as a shock to many fans, who would never have guessed that such a jovial woman as Clake could hide such a big secret about her health.

The actress admitted that she had been under a lot of pressure during that time, which aggravated her anxiety over time. Her health deteriorated visibly after the media started to follow her every move and people recognized her everywhere she went.

The actress even recalled a time when she had a panic attack in public and a fan approached her for a photo. The incident was so traumatic that she has now made a strict rule not to take selfies with fans.

She made this confession during the Table Manners podcast, where actress Jessie Ware shared that dealing with fans has become more and more stressful for her over the years.

Clarke told that the terrible ordeal happened when she was at an airport and was coming home after a long day of shooting, when she suddenly got the symptoms of a panic attack.

She believed that the attack was triggered by extreme exhaustion, but what made it worse was that at that moment she was surprised by an excited fan who wanted to meet her.

Clarke was on the phone with her mother, who was trying to comfort her daughter in the midst of a panic attack, when the fan approached her and asked for a selfie. Since then, she has stayed away from taking photos with fans, but she still enjoys signing autographs and interacting with her admirers when approached in public.
